It’s a different way of using negative space and it’s taken me a while, but I think I’m finally getting my brain wrapped around it!
Some friends lost a furry family member after many years and they were heartbroken, so I’m hoping that this will be a nice remembrance for them.
The photo of Coco was turned into a black & white image, posterized, then adjusted for threshold to make a stencil.
(Wow – that sounds really easy compared to how much time I spent!)
I’m really happy with the results and I’ve been busy practicing with other pet photos.
